Catching Up with Kai and Keila

Kai and Keila are enjoying summer in NYC.  Kai started an Advanced Reading class at Fordham University.  He says he's "going to college".  So cute.  Here are Kai and Keila enjoying Lincoln Center post Reading Class, fishing out the candy in the Lucky Charms.

Oh, and notice a big change?!?! Yup, Kai cut his hair!  He asked his Mom for a haircut — and Cyn did the deed.  It took getting used to, but Kai was so happy.  He can now see without moving hair out of his eyes! He said "Bubba, I don't need to wear a hairband anymore!" Aww.

We celebrated Mother's Day with Cyn in Riverside Park.  Perfect sunny day.  Complete with a picnic basket, Mom's embotido (she made before she left NY), and wine!

We had a great time flying to Malibu for Lolo's 70th Birthday.  He was so happy, and we had the best time — it was a family reunion!

Mommy Remy and Lolo decided to spend the holidays in NYC.  Was nice to have a merry, little Christmas in the Big Apple.  We're usually in LA for the holidays.  But yay for new memories!

Celebrated with Joan's family in Tarrytown, NY

Kai's kindergarten class took a field trip on Friday for a private tour of Yankee Stadium (Courtesy of one of Kai's classmates parents! Lawyer and CFO of the Yankees! Yay for hook-ups!). The parents were also invited to attend. Cyn said you would've thought if was more of a field trip for the parents! They got a tour of the museum, ate a complimentary lunch, and got to sit in the press box. Kai came home with a Yankee hat and bat! These kids are so lucky!

Christmas in NYC this year. Picking the perfect tree and bringing it home!

Cyn and Paul made it official! Civil wedding was June 8th. And church wedding was Nov. 21st, 2012 in NYC. AYIBOBO! 

Good times at the farm and the annual 220 Riverside Halloween Party for kids! Kai is Spiderman, and Keila is a princess.
