That’s what Tito Ray said when I told him he should use the boppy…ha! Little did he know, the boppy is everyone’s best friend! It didn’t take much convincing.

Enjoying a lazy Sunday. I love that Kainoa can fit on a throw pillow.

  • God, he is sooo cute! He looks just like Cyn here.

The second day at the hospital, Tita Liz & Mommy got a lesson in how to swaddle a baby from Tita Dee Dee (mother for the past 18 months). Look how calm and peaceful Tita Liz had become after a perfect swaddle.

    "Catching up with Kainoa"!

A place to sit back, relax, and get to know ya, Kainoa!

Kainoa was born on Thursday, November 29th at 2:51PM. He came 3 weeks early! Cyn is ecstatic to have a Sagittarius baby just like herself! She’s looking forward to celebrating their birthdays together.

"Kainoa" is a Hawaiian name — "Kai" means "ocean" and "noa" means "peace".  How very Cyn, right??? He already fits his name — he is so peaceful and chill.

We set up Cyn’s birthing room in true Cyn fashion — filled with pictures and her ipod playing an AMAZING PLAYLIST! It really felt like home! Cyn pushed out Kainoa in ONE SONG (about 4 minutes)….none other than to her favorite artist, MAXWELL’s "FORTUNATE"! (What a fitting song!) Actually, there was another song playing, and Cyn, WHILE HAVING CONTRACTIONS, was still playing DJ, telling me "Ate, can you please fast forward this song???" hahaha…Still a DJ till the very moment! hahahaha!!!

Kainoa weighs 5 pounds 3 ounces. Cyn and Kainoa came home Saturday afternoon, and are doing GREAT!!!!

Stay tuned for more late-breaking news…

Click here for Maxwell’s "Fortunate" video! (in case you were wondering how the song sounded).
