Last Thursday, after a million research emails back and forth with my photographer friends, I FINALLY took the plunge into the world of SLRs — I splurged on a nice camera — the Canon Rebel XSi! I think of it as a gift for Kai, who was my main reason for buying it. I wanted him to have good quality pictures — capturing every moment of when he's a baby and beyond….because god knows, Cyn taking pictures on her camera phone just won't cut it for our Kai Kai!

Kai turned 7 months old on June 29th! One of the things we love as he's getting older, is to see him SMILE and LAUGH! He is so cute, and brightens everyone's day.

Speaking of Laker fan, last night we had dinner and Laker Center Andrew Bynum #17 was there — that guy is insanely TALL! Cyn happened to have Kai's Laker jersey in her bag (always prepared for a wardrobe change!), so she threw it on him, and got a photo op with the Laker giant, as he was sporting his jersey!
Cyn said she had a feeling she should pack the jersey…haha!

Kai had his 6 month check-up yesterday, and he's in great condition! We have a little video of him before Dr. Grant comes in, and he is SO LOVING the PAPER on the table! Kai loves him some PAPER and PLASTIC! Check out the EUPHORIC state he's in, when the paper beneath his feet crackles! It is sooo cute!
Little does he know, he's about to get THREE SHOTS..Waaaaa….
Witnessing Kai get shots was extremely agonizing for both Mommy and Auntie! We had to see his face go from sheer JOY to PAIN — you could hear Kai's screams down the block, I'm sure. Poor Kai Kai. As Mommy said "That hurt me more then it hurt him!"
He re-covered just fine. No more shots until 1 year old. 🙂
NEWSFLASH: We can start introducing FOOD (other than Cyn's milk) to Kai, starting with fruits and veggies. Kai's a big boy now.
