I took Kai to the playroom yesterday, and he's been practicing his "standing position" quite well! He loves to pull himself on furniture or anything he can get his hands on. GO KAI! It's just a matter of time before he starts walking. (Waa.)

I can't believe how much Kai has grown! We haven't seen him for a
month, and he looks different! He's elongated
— like his face got longer. His hair got longer too. He talks so much now. We had the best time hanging out with him in
the Bay Area. We all got to stay with Ninong Ray's mom, which was so
fun.Kai turns 9 months old on August 29th. He's all grown up.
Gotta start planning his 1 year old partay!

These days, I've only been communicating with Kai via phone since he's still in Haiti. I MISS HIM SO MUCH! Cyn says he always smiles when we talk — awww!
NEWSFLASH #1: Kai now poops REAL POOP! He's a big boy now! Cyn and Paul will sit him on the toilet (while holding him, of course), and they say the faces Kai makes to "push" are HILARIOUS. I told Cyn "AWWW, TAKE PICTURES"! How crazy IN LOVE I am with him, if I think his pooping is ADORABLE??? Somebody help me. Was that TMI???
NEWSFLASH #2: Kai has been saying "Mamamamama" and "Papapapa"! I hope to catch that on video when I see him on August 22nd. 15 Day Countdown till I see Kai Kai. 🙂

Super Kai Kai on one of his many photoshoots to indulge Auntie!
Super Kai Kai is back in Haiti. Boo. He and Cyn went back on July 15th, and I'm missing them SO MUCH!
So, what does Auntie do when Kai's not around? She looks at photos and videos of Kai all day long. The next time we'll all be together is in a few weeks in the Bay area! Kai will get to meet lots of family/friends there. Kai has racked up quite a few frequent flyer miles already!
Wow, Kai turned 8 Months yesterday.
